In other words, say I have an 8 on September 1st. Say I update again on October 1st and put it at 10. The chart will only show that I jumped from 8 to 10. Not very useful. What is useful is to see for all of September I was hanging out at 8, and had nothing of such a severe level that warranted a change in my level. That is, until October 1st came along. So if it showed me at an 8 for all of Sept, and I see that, I'm like ok something cool happened on Sept 1st and that was the last major thing. Now this other thing that happened to me on Oct 1st, that was even more awesome, but it was the most dramatic thing that had happened to affect my mood since Sept 1st. Basically this will show you that it wasn't just some sudden jump from 8 on Sept 1st to 10 on Oct 1st. It will show you that until the 10 on Oct 1st you were chillin' at 8 for all of Sept. Duration is a big factor in mood swings. The way the graph shows things now makes it look like our mood swings are all kinds of erratic. Putting a time-based chart in will help us realize that we've been more stable for longer than the chart currently shows. Cuz it currently looks like we're not very stable at all, unless you've got the time to sit here each day and put something in so it actually displays something that looks like time-based tracking versus entry-based tracking.
anonymous tag:happychart.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/559269 2009-07-17T10:02:02-07:00 2009-07-17T10:02:02-07:00 Let you reasons be edited to be more specific [updated]
I have added my reasons for being sad or happy, but would like to update them so that I can refine them so they are more specific

michaelforrest said:

you can edit your reasons via the Edit Data link in the top bar. These aren't pure tags all the time -sometimes they're more like notes.

michaelforrest tag:happychart.uservoice.com,2008-02-07:Event/76009 2008-10-11T14:45:16-07:00 2008-10-11T14:45:16-07:00 Add facebook notification on mood update Luca
