I want this to work so mood updates can be commented on!

I'll wait and see if anybody else wants this before working on it I think. I wonder, though, if it would cluster these things for a feed (like 'luca updated his mood twice today, he is now feeling x/10' or something)
Adminmichaelforrest (Admin, Grimaceworks Ltd) commented ·
Interesting. What kind of notification do you mean? One that shows up on your friends' news feeds?
I had this working but it felt spammy when done once per report. However, if I limited it to one every few days it could be good... -

I think I've fixed this now. We shall see anyway.

yeah I'm thinking more of automated testing and the fact the way it works is kinda new to me - I already have several accounts like this ;-)
Adminmichaelforrest (Admin, Grimaceworks Ltd) commented ·
Yeah... tricky one due to the way the jabber client works, but I'm working on it! Problem is it's difficult to test!

This is something I should definitely investigate. I have no idea how it works. I am going to add a vote for this myself.

I have one thing in my sad cloud that should be in my happy cloud, but on investigation I now think this is a bug. I'm going to mark this task as finished now and open a couple of more specific ones.

If you know exactly how the algorithm works, it's much easier to use it as a tool:
If your mood is better than your last mood, your tags go in the happy cloud
If your mood is worse than your last mood, your tags go in the sad cloud
If your mood is the same as your last mood and has a score of 7 or above, it goes in the happy cloud. 3 or below and it goes in the sad one.Adminmichaelforrest (Admin, Grimaceworks Ltd) commented ·
A benefit of not having a proportional time-axis to the chart is that it doesn't bias against two reports being made one after the other. The way I've been using it to record complex moods is first to say a lower mood with that moods tags, then raise it back up to a higher mood with tags that relate to improvements in happiness.

I'd rather leave the tagging open (especially considering the process that would be involved keeping the tags consistent via mobile or IM), and then group tags during analysis (setting up rules for tired=tiredness etc...). These aren't pure tags all the time -sometimes they're more like notes.
